THE PROCESS

Initial Consultation
We start with a conversation about your property, your risk exposure, and your goals. No pressure, no obligation. We want to understand what you're protecting and whether pretreatment is the right fit.
This is also where we talk about other mitigation elements — defensible space, home hardening, vegetation management — because pretreatment works best as part of a broader strategy.

STEP 02
Site Assessment
We evaluate the property directly: fuels, topography, structures, access, and risk exposure. We identify where pretreatment will have the greatest impact, and where other mitigation approaches should take priority.

STEP 03
Treatment Plan
Based on the assessment, we develop a site-specific plan: which areas to treat, what formulation to apply, how the treatment integrates with existing mitigation work.
We price on a not-to-exceed basis — quoting based on complexity, product required, and distance. No surprise billing.

STEP 04
Application
We apply Komodo® using factory-trained methods, manufacturer-specified equipment, and proper formulations for your site conditions. Work is documented and verifiable.
We are a trained, authorized, and insured Komodo applicator. We adhere strictly to manufacturer standards on-site.

STEP 05
Ongoing Support
Wildfire risk doesn’t end when we leave. We provide guidance on what’s next: re-application timing, vegetation management priorities, and how your completed work supports an insurance conversation if needed.
For clients who want continued coverage through fire season, we can structure annual or seasonal service agreements.
What Pretreatment Can —
and Cannot — Do
Once applied, Komodo® remains active on vegetation through the fire season. The only thing that reduces its effectiveness is significant rainfall washing it away. It does not replace vegetation management, home hardening, or emergency preparedness — it works alongside them. We follow the recommendations of local fire authorities and national guidelines.
